Abstract:
The development of mobile gaming has reached a considerable space in the industry. Despite this, developing a game is not a trivial task because it involves a deep knowledge of diverse areas of computing. In restricted environments with limited memory and processing, this task is even harder. However, there are several operations that are necessary in every game. From the identification of these operations, we can merge them into a software component (framework) that is generic enough to allow their use by all kinds of games, but at the same time is optimized to ensure good performance of the game. This paper proposes a framework for developing games for Symbian, a mobile operating system, so as to allow the development of games is faster and optimized
